August's West End Wednesday theme is Bloom and Renew. The neighborhood is celebrating creativity, wellness, and all things floral. Join our workshop, shop floral-themed ceramics, and check out the floral display in our shop windows. We're a stop on the Bloom Tour!

Workshop Details:

$55 per person

Ages 15+

Vases will be prepared for you in advance. Come prepared with an idea and be ready to paint or be inspired by the bold, vibrant colors and patterns found in the textiles and home goods on display at Woonwinkel, including lelu's floral-inspired ceramics. Lelu will provide a demonstration of painting using ceramic underglazes, and will have paper and writing utensils available for you to sketch out your idea before finalizing it on your vase.

After the workshop, vases will be glazed and fired by lelu, and returned to Woonwinkel. You'll be notified via email when your vase is ready for pickup.

What you'll get

You'll leave with an understanding of ceramic underglazes and how to use them, as well as a lovely hand-painted vase.

Knowledge required

Beginners welcome! No prior experience necessary.

What to bring

All materials and tools will be provided, just come with comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
