We were thrilled to be part of TWO Portland Textile Month events in October. One was a vibrant panel discussion called From Small Batch to Big Time and you can read all about it HERE.
The other event was held in our own shop--an installation of the work of three textile artists: Alli Stocco, Audrey Ducas and Dianee Da'Lama. One of our favorite things is interacting with artists and designers--hearing about the stories behind their work, learning about their process, and celebrating their successes. We held an Open House Party with the artists and got a chance to do just that.

In addition to enjoying the company of Alli, Audrey and Dianee, we also loved catching up with designers we know from way back when, like Adriana Moreno of Moonshadow Goods, and meeting new ones like Hope Lobkowicz of Kindred Kid and Baby.

And whenever a new, sweet customer just happens to wander in while we're enjoying our event, then all the better.
