We're seeking a part time Assistant Manager to join our small but mighty team! We've been open for 7 years, and hope to continue our growth both in store and online. We love modern design & color in a sunny Scandinavian style.
Our dream candidate would be quick to learn, responsible, and have 2+ years of retail experience and a knack for merchandising. We're looking for someone who loves modern design, gets along well with a small team, and is excited to meet new people. Bonus points to those who are naturally creative, with an eye for detail and organization. We need someone that isn't afraid of technology and knows their way around a smart phone and Instagram.
_Schedules and assigns store staff
_Ensures efficient day-to-day operation of the store
_Exemplifies customer service excellence and encourages store staff to do the same
_Secures merchandise and reduces theft by properly using security protocols
_Keeps a safe and clean store environment, and ensures standards for quality, customer service
_Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
_Works the sales floor regularly to stay in touch with customer and staff
_Helps keep store organized and clean
_Receives product & fulfills web orders
_Opens/Closes the store
_Cashiering and inventory management
_Collaborates with owners on long term projects and goals
_Other duties as assigned
_Must have at 2+ years prior retail or customer service experience, retail management experience preferred
_College degree preferred
_Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills
_Weekend availability required
