Aremy Stewart

Aremy Stewart is a visual artist and painter. She lives in Portland, OR with her family and works out of her backyard studio. Color is her love language and art is the way she builds a place for herself in the world. Her practice explores human emotion with an emphasis on the pursuit of happiness, following joy, and paying attention as a form of secular prayer.

Her paintings are grounded in abstraction and her mark-making is fused with the chaos of communication, expression and the infinite. With saturated acrylic paint and pencils she celebrates the surprise of learning and being alive.
